God often will change the direction of many people based off of one voice.
It only takes one person to stand up and say, 'as for me and my house'.
Joshua stood up before Israel and asked who will you serve? Bold faith invites divine intervention and public testimony. Joshua's word led to action. Not only did Joshua have a a public resolve but Joshua also had a personal relationship. His public declaration flowed from his private devotions. You cannot be in public what you have not been in private. He made it personal and you have to have a personal conviction of your own. Joshua's personal relationship led to a public Joshua's stand produced a spiritual awakening.
